TICKETS

Are there discounts? Will there be discounts? Are there specials for X group?

Please watch our social media accounts for upcoming announcements and promotions.

Are there family passes? Are there season passes? What do the tickets cost?

Are families free?  Are kids free? Do we have to pay for kids?

Tickets are free for children 2 years of age and under.

Can I buy tickets at the door?  Do you need to buy tickets in advance?

Tickets, with your assigned arrival time, will be sold in advance. There will also be a limited amount of on-site ticket sales, but we can’t guarantee your preferred time slot will be available when purchasing tickets on site.

Can I use my phone to show my tickets? Do I have to print tickets?

Tickets may be printed or presented on your phone for admission to Glow Gardens.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final, with the following exceptions:

  • If an event is canceled or postponed, you are eligible for a refund for the face value of the ticket minus service charges. Please submit an email inquiry within five days of the originally scheduled event requesting a refund.
  • If you are unable to make your originally scheduled date, you can change your tickets to another date. Additional charges may apply if you select a more expensive time slot (Please check our “Can I change the date of my tickets?” question below)

Unforeseen circumstances beyond Glow’s control will not be grounds for a refund, including but not limited to the following: local or national weather conditions and natural disasters, waiting in lines, family and medical emergencies.

Glow event staff and security have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behavior, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions and Covid-19 mandatory protocols.

Service Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
Refunds are not available for unused or extra tickets, you can transfer unused tickets to attend another date or give them away as gifts to friends and family.

Can I change the date of my tickets?

Subject to availability, you can change your date and times by doing the following:

  • Go to: https://ticketzone.com/transfer/create
  • Enter your 16 digit order number (you can find this number on your receipt)
  • Choose the new date
  • Choose your desired time slot
  • Click Request Transfer

What Next?

If you receive a green bar that says: “Your ticket transfer is complete. New tickets will be emailed to you shortly.”

  • Check your email. Your new tickets will be delivered in the next 10 – 15 minutes.

If you receive a green bar that says: “Your transfer request has been submitted. Please wait until our support team reviews it. Thank you!”

  • Wait patiently. Ticket transfer approvals can take anywhere up to 24 hours. We cannot guarantee “last minute” transfers.
  • Once approved, you will receive your new tickets via email.

 

TICKET TRANSFER TERMS & CONDITIONS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ!

As stated above, ticket transfers are not guaranteed and subject to availability.

Some days and time slots are sold out. If you request a date or time slot that is sold out, your transfer request will be declined.

If you purchased a discounted ticket and try to transfer to a more expensive day / weekend or specially priced date, you won’t be able to transfer that ticket – tickets can be transferred to a day & time equaling the same or lesser value as your original purchase.

 

 

 

GENERAL EVENT

Is it the same as last year? Is there a new theme?

This year’s Gardens will feature a brand-new exhibit. We added a fun interactive kids’ area, Fun Zone, that you will love! This year Glow Gardens’ theme is A Fairytale Christmas. It’s all the magic and wonder of an outdoor light exhibit, hosted in a bright and spacious space away from the harsh winter elements. Glow is the perfect stay-cation!

Are you limited to 2 hours to stay at the event?

You can enjoy Glow Gardens as long as you like. There is a lot to see!

Where is it?

Glow Gardens Halifax will be located at Halifax Exhibition Centre on 200 Prospect Road.

 

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Is proof of vaccination required to enter the Gardens?

In accordance with Nova Scotia Public Health guidelines, all guests 12 years old and up will be required to show a government-issued proof of vaccination to access Glow Gardens. Photo ID required for those over 18 years old (Name must match vaccine record)
A person is considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Nova Scotia in the following circumstances:

  • 14 days or more after receiving the second dose of a two-dose series of a Health Canada authorized COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca).
  • 14 days or more after receiving a one-dose series of a Health Canada authorized COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson).
  • 14 days or more after receiving the final dose of any other World Health Organization authorized series of COVID-19 vaccine (such as Sinopharm or Sinovac).

The day a person got their second/final dose of vaccine is considered day 1. They are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after.

Do we have to wear masks? Can we remove masks for photos?

Your safety is our first priority. We are working closely with Public Health Authorities, as of October 2021 – Masks are mandatory for guests during your stay at Glow Gardens.
Masks may be removed when consuming food or beverages.

What about families who have mask exceptions?

Masks are mandatory for all guests and staff. Children under 2 are exempt, as well as children 2 to 4 when their caregiver can’t get them to wear a mask. People with a valid medical reason for not wearing a mask are also exempt.

How old should you be to go to the Fun Zone area of Glow Gardens?

There is something for every age. Our knowledgeable staff on site will guide you and provide you with additional instructions on different bouncy castles.

Will there be entertainment?  Will there be live music?

Will Santa be there?

Santa will be there each day we are open, until December 23. Please visit our website closer to your ticket date for any possible revised schedule

Are there ATM machines?

Yes, there are ATM machines on site available

Is there a baby changing station?

Yes, there is a baby changing station available in the bathroom

 

Are there nursing stations?

There is no dedicated area however the staff of Glow Gardens can accommodate you when you are on site of the event

Is it stroller and wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely!

Is there a Lost and Found?

Our customer service team on site will be happy to help you with any of your lost items. Please contact XYZ with details of the item you lost

Are animals allowed?

Certified service dogs can access any location where the public is allowed

Do you have a coat check?

Is there a vendor market this year?
