CHRISTMAS GLOW HALIFAX
Santa is about to take on a magical adventure, and you’re invited! Help him discover new ways to deliver presents using hot air balloons, planes, trains, motorcycles and more! This world-renowned, family-friendly indoor winter wonderland is a captivating and enormous celebration for the whole family. Launched in 2017 near Vancouver, Canada, two years later, Glow has become one of the world’s largest indoor Christmas festivals, illuminating 11 cities in 3 countries.
Explore lighted trails filled with beautiful light displays or visit the fabulous vendor market, featuring unique gifts from over 30 different artisans and local businesses. LED swings and a ‘Glow-comotive’ trackless train will provide fun and entertainment for the entire family. For the Instagram artists in the crowd, hanging picture frames under the glow of thousands of twinkling lights will be the perfect romantic image for your feed this year. t’s all the wonder of an outdoor winter festival, hosted entirely indoors at the Halifax Exhibition Centre and it happens from December 27 to January 4.
The Halifax Light Festival
From November 30th to December 7th, this annual tradition has been a staple for many Halifax locals and out-of-towners. With glowing bright lights, plenty of options for holiday shopping, festive drinks and delicious food – not to mention fantastic entertainment – this event has become a go-to for any lover of the season. The plethora of events happening over the week of this festival are almost overwhelming at first glance, but rest assured you’ll find something to satisfy every member of your friend group or family.

Musquodoboit Festival of Trees and Crafts
Running two days only, this Christmas Craft Show is an absolute must-see. Stroll through an eclectic array of natural Balsam Fir Trees, all of which have been exquisitely decorated with tinsel, ribbon and beautiful, glowing lights. Stop in and visit over 100 local craft vendors and artisans to find that one-of-a-kind gift for your loved one this year. To add to the Yuletide charm in the air, hot apple cider and fresh gingerbread are available while you roam. The Festival of Trees and Crafts is open December 7th and 8th only at the Natural Resources Education Centre.
