Can I change the date of my tickets (exchanges)?

You can transfer your tickets yourself through the Showpass app or website. Through it you can change to a new time slot & date that you will like to attend Glow.

Are there discounts? Will there be discounts? Are there specials for X group?

There are no current promotions or discounts.

What if I’m going to be late for my entrance time slot? Please explain the time slots

While we do ask that you try and arrive within the hour listed on your ticket, we certainly understand that life happens and you may be late. The entrance time is a guideline designed to control crowds and provide a better experience for all. Arriving within an hour before or an hour after your time slot is usually not a problem unless the other time slot is sold out.

On your ticket, you will see your entrance time slot. For example, you ticket may say “Start: Wed, Nov 22 2023 4:00 PM, End: Wed, Nov 22 2023 5:00 PM” This is your arrival time slot (although as mentioned, we are flexible unless there are COVID restrictions introduced). You can stay until closing time.

Are kids free? Do we have to pay for kids?

Tickets are free for children 2 years of age and under.

Are there family passes? Are there season passes? What do the tickets cost?

Yes, we do offer a family pass. They are for 2 adults and 3 kids. We do no offer a season pass. All ticket prices are listed on our home page.

Can I buy tickets at the door?  Do you need to buy tickets in advance?

Tickets, with your assigned arrival time, will be sold in advance. There will also be on-site ticket sales, but some busy time slots will sell out so we can’t guarantee your preferred time slot will be available when purchasing tickets on site. Usually weekdays evenings still have tickets available at the door but your best bet is to purchase tickets in advance.

Can I use my phone to show my tickets? Do I have to print tickets?

Tickets may be printed or presented on your phone for admission to Glow Gardens. If you can’t find your ticket, we can also look you up by the name of the ticket purchaser.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final, with the following exceptions:

– If an event is canceled or postponed, you are eligible for a refund for the face value of the ticket minus service charges. Please submit an email inquiry within five days of the originally scheduled event requesting a refund.
– If you are unable to make your originally scheduled date, you can change your tickets to another date. Additional charges may apply if you select a more expensive time slot (Please check our “Can I change the date of my tickets?” question below)
– Unforeseen circumstances beyond Glow’s control will not be grounds for a refund, including but not limited to the following: local or national weather conditions and natural disasters, waiting in lines, family and medical emergencies.
– Glow event staff and security have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behaviour, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions and Covid-19 mandatory protocols.

Service Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

Refunds are not available for unused or extra tickets, you can transfer unused tickets to attend another date or give them away as gifts to friends and family.

Is it the same as last year? Is there a new theme?

This year’s Gardens will feature a brand-new theme to enhance exhibits that are used each year. We also enhanced our interactive kid’s Fun Land into Glowville, which kids of all ages can enjoy! This year Glow Gardens’ theme is Around the World. It’s all the magic and wonder of an outdoor light exhibit, hosted in a bright and spacious space away from the harsh winter elements. Glow is the perfect stay-cation!

Are you limited in the amount of time you can stay?

You can enjoy Glow Gardens as long as you like until close. There is a lot to see!

Where is it? Is there parking?

Glow Gardens Halifax will be located at Halifax Exhibition Centre on 200 Prospect Road. The google map can be found here:

There is plenty of parking and it is free.

Do we have to wear masks?

Masks are not required. This is dependent on current Nova Scotia Public Health guidelines for public events at the time and is subject to change.

How old should you be to go to the Fun Land Glowville area of Glow Gardens?

There is something for every age. Our knowledgeable staff on site will guide you and provide you with additional instructions on different bouncy castles.

Will there be entertainment?  Will there be live music?

Guests will enjoy the sounds of our house band as well as surprise entertainment throughout the exhibit.

Will Santa be there?

Santa will be there each day we are open, until December 23.

Are there ATM machines?

Yes, there are ATM machines on-site that are available.

Is there a baby changing station?

Yes, there is a baby changing station available in the bathroom.

Are there nursing stations?

There is no dedicated area however the staff of Glow Gardens can accommodate you when you are on site of the event.

Is it stroller and wheelchair accessible?


Is there a Lost and Found?

Are animals allowed?

Certified service dogs can access any location where the public is allowed.

Is the event indoors?

Yes, all of Glow Gardens Halifax is indoors.
