The Hartford Symphony Orchestra brings an extra dose of holiday cheer to the timeless Will Ferrell classic by playing through every note of the full score as the movie plays on a giant screen. Pentatonix – Most Wonderful Tour of the Year 

Great for: Your best friend— who you met in your college acapella group. 

Some may say the benchmark is when you’ve finished your Thanksgiving leftovers, or perhaps when you see your neighbors put up their lights, but the real herald of the Christmas season is the start of Pentatonix’s annual tour. The world-renowned acapella quintet is coming back to Connecticut this year, and it’s a performance no self-respecting acapella fan would let themselves miss.

Felices Fiestas!

Great for: A whole-family outing for all generations and language proficiencies.  

Once again, Hartford Stage is putting on ¡Felices Fiestas! their yearly bilingual Christmas celebration! This event is multiple performances in one; though the main event is a live reading of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, there will also be live music performances in both English and Spanish. There are also arts and crafts, Christmas tree decorating, and a bilingual open mic. Admission, food, and drink are all free!

The Edwards Twins Present: The Ultimate Christmas Variety Show 

Great for: Those who grew up in the 70’s and 80’s… or were born in the wrong generation. 

Can you imagine seeing classic stars like Sonny & Cher, Neil Diamond, and Tom Jones all in a single show? The Edwards Twins Present: The Ultimate Christmas Variety Show brings that dream to life with top-tier celebrity impersonators straight from Las Vegas.
