What is Glow?

This season, Hartford is being transformed into a dazzling Christmas wonderland. Glow Hartford invites you to “Santa’s Perfect Gift” and marvel at our 10,000 hanging lights, enchanted forrest, scavenger hunts, Santa Claus, and more!
With seasonal music, food and activities, Glow is a Christmas light festival and market that will entertain all ages.

When is Glow Hartford?

Glow Hartford will take place every day from November 25th, 2022 to January 1st, 2023.

From November 25 to December 19: 3PM – 9PM / November 26 3PM – 10PM
From December 20 to December 30: 4PM – 9PM
January 1: 1PM – 7PM

Where is Glow?

Glow Hartford 2022 will be held at Connecticut Convention Center, 100 Columbus Blvd., Hartford, CT. 06103.

Is Glow an indoor event?

Yes, Glow Hartford is an indoor event!

Will Santa be at Glow?

Yes, Santa will be here daily until Christmas – special hours

Will customers be able to purchase tickets at the doors?

No, but you can buy your tickets online.

How long can guests stay at Glow?

There is no limit on how long guests can stay at Glow, though the average guest stays for around 1 to 2 hours. Guests are free to stay and enjoy Glow for as long they’d like!

Is photography permitted?

Yes, this is the perfect event for photos! Don’t forget to tag us on social media with our hashtags #GlowHartford #GlowHartford2022

Help, tickets are no longer available for the time I want to attend.

We’re sorry that you missed your preferred date or timing!
To ensure all our guests have enough time and space to enjoy Glow we have to limit the number of tickets we sell for each day and arrival window. All tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Please visit the calendar to look for an alternative date or arrival window with available tickets.

I cannot make my original date. How do I transfer my tickets to another date?

Subject to availability, you can change the date of your tickets by doing the following:

1) Go to: https://www.myzonetickets.com/transfer/create
2) Enter your 16-digit order number (you can find this number on your receipt)
3) Choose the new date (and time, if applicable)
4) Click Request Transfer

What Next?

-If you receive a green bar that says: “Your ticket transfer is complete. New tickets will be emailed to you shortly.” – Check your email. Your new tickets will be delivered in the next 10-15 minutes.
-If you receive a green bar that says: “Your transfer request has been submitted. Please wait until our support team reviews it. Thank you!” – Wait patiently. Ticket transfer approvals can take anywhere up to 24 hours.

We cannot guarantee “last minute” transfers. Once approved, you will receive your new tickets via email. Please discard your original tickets as they have been voided and no longer valid.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final, with the following exceptions:

-If an event is cancelled or postponed, you are eligible for a refund for the face value of the ticket. Please submit an email inquiry within five days of the originally scheduled event requesting a refund.
-If you cannot make your originally scheduled date, you can change your tickets to another date. Additional charges may apply if you select a more expensive time slot.

Unforeseen circumstances beyond Glow Hartford’s control will not be grounds for a refund, including but not limited to the following: local or national weather conditions and natural disasters, waiting in lines, family and medical emergencies.
Glow event staff and security have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behaviour, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions and Covid-19 mandatory protocols.
Service Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
Refunds are not available for unused or extra tickets, you can transfer unused tickets to attend another date or give them away as gifts to friends and family

What happens if I am running late?

To ensure your safety, entry to the event is staggered. Time slots are provided so that you and your family can enjoy Glow’s features without crowding. If you happen to arrive outside your stated arrival time, we will prioritize those customers whose times match their time slots first, to alleviate any capacity issues. Visitors can enter Glow at their designated ticketing time and stay as long as they’d like!

Do you have an on-site Lost & Found?

Yes. Following the event, all personal lost and found articles are cataloged and stored for thirty (30) days with our Security Department. After that period, all articles are disposed of at the sole discretion of the CTCC.

Is your event wheelchair & stroller accessible?

Yes! We want everyone to enjoy this magical event.

Do you offer wheelchair or stroller rentals?

The CTCC does not have wheelchairs available for rental to guests or clients for personal usage.

Are pets allowed? What about service dogs?

Animals or pets, except for ADA Service Animals, are not permitted inside the CTCC.

Why do you charge a processing fee for tickets?

As with most events, there is a small fee for all the products and services associated with creating and executing a ticketing system. We work hard to keep these charges to a minimum, while still providing a convenient purchasing system for our visitors.

Why do I have to specify a time to buy tickets?

Do you have WiFI?

No.

Do you have a coat check or on-site storage lockers?

Coat racks will be available. The CTCC is not responsible for items left in coat check areas or on coat racks.  

Will there be restrooms and a baby changing area?

Yes, there will be restrooms onsite. Baby changing areas are available at family restrooms, both outside and inside the venue.

Are ATMs/Cash machines on site?

Yes, we have three ATMs in the convention center. They are located on Level 1 (Lower Lobby) and at the main entrance to the Exhibit Hall B.

Will there be food and drinks available at Glow?

Yes, we will have various food and drink options to cover most tastes (including alcoholic beverages)! We will update you with options as soon as we have them confirmed!

Is parking available?

Attached to the Connecticut Convention Center is a covered 8 floor parking garage with 2,600 parking spaces. In addition, there are 125 outdoor spaces for oversized vehicles in the surface lot. There is a designated charging area for electric-powered vehicles (no charge). The garage is open 24/7. Additional parking is available at the Connecticut Science Center garage (460 spaces), Front Street South garage (232 spaces) and Front Street North garage (651 spaces).

Will there be on-site First Aid and Security?

Security will be on-site throughout the duration of the event.

Are masks required at the event? What are your Covid-19 restrictions?

Masks are not required. The safety and well-being of our employees, partners, and guests is our top priority. We will continue to follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local and state authorities regarding events at the CTCC.
