What is Glow Lethbridge?

Glow Lethbridge is a family-friendly, indoor walk-around holiday festival running from November 23-December 31, 2023. This year it will feature a spectacular theme: Around the World.

Along with daily visits from Santa, Glow Lethbridge features a passport scavenger hunt, festive food and beverage offerings, live music and performances, an indoor playground, games, a craft corner, and of course enchanting lights. Come experience the magic.

Is Glow Lethbridge Indoors or Outdoors?

Glow Lethbridge is an expansive (52,000 square feet) indoor walk-around light experience located in the DA Steel Buildings Hall and KB Heating & Air Conditioning Hall in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.  

When is Glow Lethbridge?  

For the 2023 season, Glow Lethbridge is open Thursday – Sunday from November 23 – December 31.
 
Hours are as follows:  
Thursday 4 PM – 9 PM 
Friday 4 PM – 9 PM 
Saturday 4 PM – 9 PM 
Sunday 12 PM – 5 PM 

How long can we stay? 

There is no limit on how long guests can stay at Glow. We have daily visits from Santa, a passport scavenger hunt, festive food and beverage offerings, live music and performances, an indoor playground, games, a craft corner and enchanting lights to keep the whole family amazed and entertained.  
 
The average guest stays for approximately 2 hours. 

What are the ticket prices for Glow Lethbridge?  

As an event, our mission is to create an experience for families to treasure and make memories together.

If you are only able to invest in one holiday experience as a family this year, our event will provide the best value for your money and will be the go-to holiday celebration where memories are made, laughter is contagious and the magic is real.  
 
Ticket Prices (including all fees) are:

General Admission / Adult (16+) $19.99
Youth (4-15) / Senior (65+) $14.99
Family (2 Adult + 3 Youth/Senior) $64.99

A family pass offers more than a 20% discount on individual tickets for 2 General Admission and 3 Children or Seniors. Children 3 and under are always free. The family pass is a fantastic deal, especially when purchased during our early bird sale, as it is the best discount of the season. 

Are ticket refunds available?  

If you are unable to make your originally scheduled date, unfortunately you cannot change your tickets to another date.  
 
All sales are final, with the exception of an event cancellation. In the case of an event cancellation, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the ticket (service fees are not refundable). Please submit an email inquiry within 5 days of the originally scheduled event requesting a refund to info@agrifoodhub.ca and we’ll work to process your request as soon as possible. 
 
Glow Christmas event staff and security reserves the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder without a refund, at their discretion, including but not limited to: disorderly behavior, intoxication, venue capacity, breach of security restrictions. 

What does my ticket include? 

Outside of food and beverage offerings, all attractions throughout the event are included in the ticket price. A ticket to Glow includes visits with Santa, a passport scavenger hunt, live music and performances, an indoor playground, games, a craft corner, and of course enchanting lights. Come experience the magic. 

Why do you charge a service and ticketing fee for ticketing? 

As with most events, there is a small fee for all the products and services associated with creating and executing a ticketing system. We work hard to keep these charges to a minimum, while still providing a convenient purchasing system for our visitors. 

How do I use my coupon/discount code?

Upon check out, an Order Summary will display on the right hand side of the screen. In the “Enter Promotional Code” field, simply type in the discount code and click on the arrow to apply the code.

Why do I have to specify a time for my tickets? 

Entry to the event is staggered to ensure the best guest experience for everyone, and for you and your guests to enjoy Glow without overcrowding. 
 
On-site tickets will be available for purchase until 8 PM from Thursday – Saturday, with entry available until 8:30 PM and on Sunday until 4 PM, with entry available until 4:30 PM. 

Are tickets available for purchase in-person at Lethbridge & District Exhibition?  

Yes! Tickets are available online for pre-purchase and we also reserve a select number of tickets each night for in-person sales. All tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. 
 
On-site tickets will be available for purchase until 8 PM from Thursday – Saturday, with entry available until 8:30 PM and on Sunday until 4 PM, with entry available until 4:30 PM. 

How do I access my tickets? 

You can access your tickets at any time in two ways:  
   
1. Email: Upon purchasing your tickets a confirmation was sent from Lethbridge and District Exhibition. This email includes a link to your tickets, your order number and additional payment details. Click the “My Tickets” button within the email. Not seeing the email? Check your junk folder and add us to your safe sender list.   

2. Online: Visit tickets.lethbridgedistrictexhibition.ca and log in (or create an account if you checked out as a guest) with the credentials you used to purchase ticket(s).  

Can I transfer my tickets?  

Yes. You may transfer your tickets to friends or family.

Once logged into your account, to share your tickets electronically simply:

1. Click on “view your order”. 
2. Under “order summary” scroll down to see your Purchased items. You can directly download the tickets by selecting the “view all” button. This will show all of your tickets(s) which can be managed individually. Choose management options by selecting the drop-down arrow. 
3. To email, select “transfer”. 
4. A pop-up window will appear. Next to “send this item via email to” select “someone else” and enter the ticket holder details. You can choose to transfer immediately or by unchecking this box, select the date you would like the tickets sent. When ready, click the Submit button. 
5. Repeat for any tickets you would like to share via email. You can view the status of your transferred tickets anytime by logging into your account. View the “Order Page”, by using the navigation bar on the left. Tickets will appear here and you can click on the ticket to see if they have been accepted by the recipient. 

Tickets are no longer available for the dates I want to attend? 

We’re sorry to hear you missed out on your preferred date or timing! 

To ensure all our visitors have enough time and space to enjoy Glow we have to limit the number of tickets we sell for each day and arrival window. 

Can I change the date / time of my tickets?

Yes! You can change the date of your regular priced tickets to any date up to 24 hours in advance! Simply, follow these steps:
 
– Log into your account or create an account using the email you used during checkout
– Go to your order
– Select the “Move Dates” button
– Choose your new dates and times!

Please note that discounted tickets are non-transferable.

Is there a coat check? 

Yes. A coat check is available at Guest Services for $2 per hanger. 

When will Santa be there? 

Santa will be on site daily until Dec 24.

Santa’s hours are as follows: 
Thursday – Saturday: 5 PM – 8 PM 
Sunday: 1 PM – 4 PM

What do we need to know about parking? 

On-site parking for Glow Lethbridge is free, but is limited, therefore guests are encouraged to use public transit, ride shares, or carpool. For those with limited mobility, a drop-off loop is located at north entrance of the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. 
 
On-site parking for Glow Lethbridge will be offered in both the north and south parking lots. Entrances into the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre are available at both lots. 

Can I get to Glow Lethbridge by bus? 

Several bus stops are located within a short walk to either the north or south entry gates. We encourage guests to use the City of Lethbridge Orange Line.

How do I contact customer service?

Is Glow Lethbridge wheelchair and/or stroller accessible? 

All pathways through Glow will be made of smooth, flat concrete allowing strollers and mobility aids the ability to get around easily.  
 
There are also accessible parking spots reserved at the front of our parking lot. When you arrive at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre, just notify the parking attendant and they will guide you to the appropriate area. 

Is this event suitable for all ages or just families with young children? 

Glow Lethbridge is a festive light celebration with something for everyone, we welcome people of all ages to come and enjoy themselves. 

What if we arrive early?  

Tickets are being sold in time increments. Please arrive as closely as possible to the time indicated on your ticket, to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. 

What if we arrive late?  

We understand that traffic and life can be unpredictable, especially during the holiday season. Guests are asked to arrive as close as possible to the entry time on their ticket. This helps ensure a safe and smooth event.  
 
Especially with so many little ones in attendance, we want to be proactive against overcrowding. Guests who arrive late may be asked to wait or rescheduled to the next available time slot if we are at capacity. 

Will there be food and beverage at the event? 

Yes, there will be a number of festive food and beverage options available for purchase.

Are there washroom facilities on-site? 

Yes! Men’s, Women’s, and Universal washrooms may be found throughout the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. A Nursing Room is also available if needed. 

How do we participate in the Around the World passport?  

All visitors will be given a passport upon entry, which you can use to take part in the scavenger hunt and all on-site activities. At each magical ticket booth (there are 6 in total) throughout the show, your passport can be stamped.  CLICK HERE for contest rules & regulations.

Are pets allowed at Glow Lethbridge? 

General pets are not allowed within the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. However, certified service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre and must remain on a leash or in a harness. Documentation must be presented at the door. 

What are the Terms of Entry? 

Lethbridge & District Exhibition is committed to providing all guests with an enjoyable and memorable entertainment experience. 
  
Your access to or attendance at Glow Lethbridge at Lethbridge & District Exhibition is conditional on your acceptance of the Rules. 
  
To ensure the best possible experience for all of our guests, we ask that you conduct yourself according to all applicable laws as well as all of the rules, guidelines and policies of the Lethbridge & District Exhibition including those listed below and those posted within Lethbridge & District Exhibition (collectively, the “Rules”). 
 
1. RULES 
ADMISSION 
Tickets and other entitlements are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable, revocable and void if altered. Tickets, coupons, vouchers, passes and the like that are lost, stolen or fraudulent will not be honoured. 
 
ALCOHOL 
Alcohol may be served at specific locations throughout Lethbridge & District Exhibition. Lethbridge & District Exhibition staff are trained in responsible alcohol management through the provincially mandated ProServe and ProTect Programs. All guests may be asked to provide government issued photo identification such as a valid Driver’s Licence or Passport. It is Lethbridge & District Exhibition’s policy to request government photo identification from any guest appearing 30 years of age or younger. Any guest in possession of alcoholic beverages on the premises may be requested at any time to produce valid government identification. There will be no refunds for confiscated alcoholic beverages. Any guest who produces false identification, or provides alcohol to a minor, will be subject to eviction and reported to the Lethbridge Police Service. Lethbridge & District Exhibition reserves the right to eject anyone under the legal drinking age of 18 years who is observed consuming alcohol on the premises. Lethbridge & District Exhibition reserves the right to refuse entry or eject anyone who appears to be visibly intoxicated. Lethbridge & District Exhibition will not serve more than two alcoholic beverages to a guest at one time and reserves the right to limit service to one drink per guest. Lethbridge & District Exhibition will not serve alcohol to any guest who is showing signs of intoxication. Lethbridge & District Exhibition reserves the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time. Guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind into Lethbridge & District Exhibition and may be subject to eviction by doing so. Alcoholic beverages are intended for consumption in Lethbridge & District Exhibition designated areas only. 
 
ATTIRE 
In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Clothing featuring offensive language, rude or vulgar graphics and images/emblems or can be identified as gang colours are not permitted. These items of clothing must be removed or turned inside-out. If in doing so the results do not meet Glow’s Terms of Entry you may be asked to leave the property. 
 
ATTRACTIONS  
Access to attractions depends upon the safety rules for each attraction. We expect our guests who enjoy the attractions to: 
Exercise good judgment 
Act in a responsible manner 
Comply with all specific guidelines posted  
Obey all oral and written warnings 
 
CANNABIS POLICY 
The use, sale, growth and preparation of cannabis (indoors or outdoors) on Lethbridge & District Exhibition owned, operated or leased property is prohibited except as explicitly authorised by this policy. 
  
The possession of cannabis products or paraphernalia is permitted on Lethbridge & District Exhibition owned, operated or leased property in accordance with Lethbridge municipal and Alberta provincial by-laws and legislation. 
  
Cannabis consumption is ONLY permitted: 
At the Lethbridge & District Designated Smoking Areas 
At such other temporary locations as may be approved by way of written special permission of Lethbridge & District Exhibition (Chief Executive Officer) and there is no appeal of that decision. 
 
CODE OF CONDUCT 
Please show common courtesy to fellow guests, employees and volunteers by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour. 
  
All guests are encouraged to drink responsibly. Please don’t drink and drive. 
  
Laws prohibiting consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors, illegal drugs, and disorderly conduct of any kind will be strictly enforced. 
  
Violators of the Guest Code of Conduct are subject to ejection without refund. Actions which constitute criminal behaviour, as defined by law, may result in arrest and prosecution. 

SECURITY & BAG CHECK 
Lethbridge & District Exhibition is dedicated to the protection and safety of its guests, artists, exhibitors and staff. Security measures implemented at Glow may include bag check stations, metal detectors and security screening. All persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at Lethbridge & District Exhibition entrances. Lethbridge & District Exhibition reserves the right to confiscate items which may cause danger or disruption to the event or other guests. Any guest who declines the security screening may be denied entry from Glow. 
  
We reserve the right to deny any bag, parcel or other items to be brought into Lethbridge & District Exhibition, and to deal with any unattended object in such way as we consider appropriate. 
  
If you are bringing a bag, please pack only what’s needed and ensure you have read through the prohibited items list in advance. Non-permitted items, including those with sentimental value or special meaning should be kept at home, stored in your vehicle, or can be voluntarily surrendered at the entrance. Please note there is no on-site check-in or storage services. 
  
Please plan accordingly for possible additional wait times as we process guests through the mandatory bag check stations. We appreciate your patience and understanding! 
 
SMOKING & ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES 
For the enjoyment of all of our guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapour or smoke are allowed only in designated smoking areas. 
 
 
2. TERMS OF ENTRY 
We endeavour to make your time at Lethbridge & District Exhibition as enjoyable and safe as possible. Please be aware that there are risks inherent to your visit. By entering or otherwise attending Lethbridge & District Exhibition, you agree that you voluntarily assume all risks and dangers connected to, associated with, or incidental to your presence at Lethbridge & District Exhibition. 
 
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO 
We may film, photograph, record, videotape or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters Lethbridge & District Exhibition and/or attends Glow’s produced events and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person. 
  
You consent to be filmed, photographed and/or otherwise recorded in connection with, or as part of, Lethbridge & District Exhibition journalistic, advertising, marketing, promotional, archival and/or security activities; 
  
You consent to such filming, photography, and/or recording, including the use of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) / drone which may be used to capture footage and will be flown in close proximity on park. And to any use, in any and all media, without compensation to you, of your appearance, voice and/or name for the above-noted purposes; 
  
You understand that filming, all photography and/or recording will be done in reliance on these consents given by you by entering Lethbridge & District Exhibition; and you protect, among other things, the personal information of our guests, you agree: (i) not to reproduce, perform, display or upload any photographs, videos and/or recordings, that you may take or record while at Glow; and (ii) upon our request, to immediately remove and/or delete any and all such videos, photographs and/or recording online or from any other media. 
 
RE-ENTRY 
Guests wishing to leave Glow during operating hours but planning to return must have their hand stamped prior to exiting. 
Hand stamps are available at the event entry/ exit 
A hand-stamp is available at the exit and will provide re-entry for the entry time it was issued. 
We reserve the right to refuse entry for illegible re-entry stamps. 
Admission is not guaranteed in the event of a force majeure. 
 
You acknowledge and agree that your admission to and attendance at Lethbridge & District Exhibition is conditional upon your compliance with all Rules, including for greater certainty, all applicable laws, by-laws and posted venue rules (including these rules and terms of entry). 
  
We reserve the right to deny admission or to require a person already admitted to leave Lethbridge & District Exhibition, without refund, liability or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require. 
  
We may, without prior notice and without refund, liability or compensation, change the operating hours of Glow or any attraction, close Lethbridge & District Exhibition or any part of it temporarily, restrict the number of persons having access to Glow, and/or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment program if we consider that the circumstances so require. 
  
Lethbridge & District Exhibition ‘Rules’ and ‘Terms of Entry’ are subject to change without notice. 
 
OTHER IMPORTANT LEGAL TERMS 
You voluntarily assume all risks and dangers connected to, associated with or incidental to your attendance at Lethbridge & District Exhibition, including your presence at an event at Lethbridge & District Exhibition (an “Event”). 
  
Under no circumstances will Lethbridge & District Exhibition be responsible for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to an Event or your attendance at Lethbridge & District Exhibition. 
  
You hereby waive and release all claims or actions against Lethbridge & District Exhibition or any of its sponsors, as well as against any of the respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and volunteers of Lethbridge & District Exhibition or its sponsors, for any loss, injury (including personal injury), damages or liability that may arise out of or is any way connected to an Event or your attendance at Glow, regardless of whether such loss, injury, damages or liability arises from negligence, libel, defamation, loss of privacy, or otherwise. 
  
Admission is not guaranteed in the event of a force majeure. 
  
You acknowledge and agree that your admission to and attendance at Lethbridge & District Exhibition is conditional upon your compliance with all Rules, including for greater certainty, all applicable laws, by-laws, and posted venue rules (including these Rules and Guidelines). 
  
From time to time, changes may be made to these Rules and Guidelines. For example, reflect changes in our legal or regulatory obligations. Revised versions of these Rules and Guidelines will be posted on this website. Accordingly, we encourage each of our guests to refer back to it on a regular basis prior to attending Glow. 
 
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES 
To create a safe and secure environment for all guests, the following conduct has been deemed unacceptable at Lethbridge & District Exhibition: 
– The use of aggressive, offensive or abusive language and actions. 
– Violent behaviour including fighting, taunting and making threatening remarks or gestures. 
– Intoxication or other signs of substance impairment. 
– Throwing objects of any kind. 
– Displaying signs or clothing with obscene, offensive, gang affiliated or indecent messages. 
– Inappropriate displays of affection. 
– Entering clearly marked restricted areas. 
– Any action that impedes the enjoyment of other guests. 
– Violation of any municipal, provincial, or federal laws. 
– Acts of demonstration, solicitation, distribution or private sale of materials or event tickets on these premises are prohibited unless pre-authorized in writing by Lethbridge & District Exhibition. 
– The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind. 
– Engaging in any unsafe act that may impede the operation of Lethbridge & District Exhibition or any associated venue. 
  
Our team has been trained to proactively intervene when required and is committed to engaging all guests in a professional, respectful and courteous manner. 
 
4. PROHIBITED ITEMS 
The following items may not be brought into Lethbridge & District Exhibition: 
– Air horns/artificial noisemakers 
– Alcohol 
– Any item deemed a danger/threat to public order or safety 
– Articles of clothing with offensive language/images 
– Banners/signs/voice amplification devices 
– Bicycles/scooters 
– Compressed and/or liquid gas/aerosol sprays (except personal care products, insect repellant) 
– Conducted Energy Weapons (i.e. Taser) 
– Corrosive chemicals/flammable substances 
– Drones/Radio 
– Controlled devices 
– Illegal drugs/drug paraphernalia/substances 
– Explosives/flammable items/ignition devises 
– Firearms/slingshots/ammunition 
– Fireworks 
– Flyers/samples/promotional items/giveaways 
– Glass containers /other containers in which their contents cannot be easily identified 
– Hand tools/electric tools 
– Knives/scissors/bladed items of all forms 
– Light emitting devices (lasers) 
– Mace/pepper spray/bear spray 
– Materials of an extremist/offensive /discriminatory nature 
– Outside food & beverage 
– Pad locks/chains/cables/zip ties/handcuffs 
– Paint/markers 
– Pets /other animals except animals with a Service Dog Identification Card 
– Replica firearms/weapons including items that appear to be firearms 
– Skateboards/Segway’s/wheelies/shoes with wheels/ hover boards 
– Sporting Goods (baseball bats, hockey sticks, golf clubs, bows and arrows) 
– Professional audio or video recording devices 
– Unknown liquids/powders 
– Noise makers (i.e. bullhorns, sirens, air horns, etc) or confetti poppers 
– Hard sided coolers 
 
 
5. PERMITTED ITEMS 
 
The following items are permitted in Lethbridge & District Exhibition: 
– Small children’s strollers or wagons 
– Infant formula 
– Plastic water bottles (one litre or less), juice boxes 
– Sealed/unopened water bottles 
– Small snacks 
– Mobility Aids (walkers, crutches, canes, wheelchairs, scooters etc.)
